I am Raju Sarkar, I am 24 old years I live in Faridabad. I had a normal life till March 2019, After  that when the lockdown was imposed in march 2019, I Started having stomach pain, vomiting, loss of appetite and bleeding in stool. For a few days I could not understand what happened to me. My problem gradually started increasing and I was not able to consult a doctor even if I wanted to because there was a lockdown. Due to my careless ness my problem increased Day-by-Day. There was more blood coming in my motion and I started going 15-20 times a day and my weight started decreasing very fast. Then after a few days I Consult the general physician about my illness. For a few months, the doctor gave me Antibiotics and different types of medicine which did not make any different to me. When there was no improvement in illness, the advised to consult a Gastroenterology Doctor. Then I went to holy family Hospital where the gastroenterology doctor advised me to do colonoscopy. I had my colonoscopy done on 1th January 2020 and the reports came in few days. After the colonoscopy reports came I went to the doctor and the doctor told me that you have Ulcerative colitis. When I found out that I had ulcerative colitis, I because very worried and could not sleep all night the doctor Said that this diseases will remain with you for the rest of your life and it can never be Cured. me and my parents started getting worried . After Diagnosing my illness , the doctor started my medicine but even after taking the medicine for a few months, my bleeding did not reduce . after seeing the doctor at holy family Hospital, I came to know about my illness but mu illness was not reducing. I went to holy family hospital till June 2020 then I stopped seeing because mu diseases  was not coming under control . My bleeding my pain in stomach my weight was losing everything was happening but my diseases was not getting better, then due to that I went to the doctor left to show. due to not getting the Right treatment I stopped showing up there.  I did not see any doctor from June to November. When me and parents started getting more worried  due to my illness .then Someone Said that you show us in Delhi Apollo Hospital . Where we meet Dr. Yogesh Batra in 22,December 2020. After meeting Him I show him all my old reports. Dr. yogesh batra again asked me to do colonoscopy under the supervision of Dr. yogesh batra, my colonoscopy and proper biopsy were done according to him. After a few days all my reports come in which I come to know that there was many ulcers in my large Intestine  and my biopsy reports has CMV virus (CYTOMEGALOVIRUS). Dr. YOGESH BATRA explained me very well about this diseases. After knowing my complete illness the doctor started all my medicine , my bleeding stopped completely in my stool. Now I am going to do the motion only once or twice a day. For the first time, I started feeling good because of my treatment under Dr.yogesh batra . After a few months, my illness started increasing again in march .blood started coming in my stool again . then doctor asked me to do colonoscopy  my bleeding   stopped again and I didn’t have any problems. Dr. yogesh batra helped me a lot he trained me mentally and physically. Dr. yogesh batra explained me about  this diseases in such a good way he told me his diet, what to take what not to take . and he told that yoga and physical exercise are very important in ulcerative colitis. After getting complete guidance from Dr. yogesh batra , I am completely fit mentally and physically. In ulcerative colitis one should stay away from oily things and should not eat outside fast food. And should not eat anything too spicy When I was sick with the diseases I could not travel anyewhere. Because I was afraid when I would have to go to toilet urgently .  But when you follow the advice of a good doctor and complete medical guidance you will remain fit and can go anywhere Ulcerative colitis is a diseases that changed my entire life but I am still mentally and physically fit because Dr. yogesh batra because that the cost of this diseases is very high has helped me in every way In the end I would like to say that you should not ignore the symptoms of ulcerative colitis and consult the best Doctor. Because carelessness about this diseases can change your life you can even get cancer. You should keep following your doctor from Time to Time Luckily I have Started to feel the best I have in years and I hope this is the start of a Happier, Healtier me I will continue to spread awareness of this diseases.
